Orton and Truflo Rona, subsidiaries of IMI Severe Service Isolation Valve Group, have been awarded USD 50 million contracts for the supply of critical valves to single resource LNG liquefaction plant Barrow Island LNG, Gorgon Project in Australia. Orton will supply triple eccentric metal seated valves for cryogenic and high pressure hot gas applications while Truflo Rona will supply manual and actuated top entry ball valves for cryogenic application. The valves will be manufactured and tested in cryogenic conditions in manufacturing facilities located in Piacenza, Italy and Herstal, Belgium.
